Guangzhou Badminton Team,Guangzhou 510620,China; 2.Zhejiang Sports Center of Tonglu,Tonglu 311500,China) Abstract: The relationship between technical style and winning pattern is not correctly recognized by traditional viewpoints spread over the badminton community,thus causing the drawing of the conclusion that modern women’s doubles badminton is developing towards the orientation of “draw back,maneuver and then attack”. The authors probed deeply into the pattern of winning a women’s badminton event by basing their main data source on a classic match between the two Olympic champions of women’s doubles badminton and referring to the pattern of development of men’s doubles badminton event, and drew the following conclusions:1) No matter in singles or doubles,the technical style of badminton with Chinese characteristics can be summarily described with the four words: fast, aggressive,accurate and flexible,where the word “fast” is the core while the other three words are the specific expressions of “fast”, and the word “fast” has different meanings for different singles; 2) the guideline of “fast, aggressive,flat,close and pressing attack” for doubles brought forward in the badminton training meeting convened in 1978 is an incomplete description; 3) the key factor for winning a badminton event is “fast” and the factors that affect “fast” are “aggressive, accurate and flexible”, which are unified on the basis of “fast” and show the rules of totality, precedence and change during they are forming “fast” comprehensively, and this pattern is followed by women’s doubles event as well.
