(1.School of Physical Education,South China Normal University,Guangzhou 510006,China;2.Zhuhai School,Beijing Normal University,Zhuhai 519807,China) Abstract: By conducting a questionnaire investigation on examinees and coaches who participated in additional technical examinations for the physical education major in college entrance examinations conducted in Guangdong province in 2013, the authors probed into the current examination scheme’s the fairness and rationality, and drew the following conclusions: the current examination scheme’s fairness had been enhanced, but its rationality needed to be further improved; its irrationality was embodied in the followings: the event configuration was lacking in compre-hensiveness and specific objectives, deviating from the current situation of development of physical education in elementary and middle schools and the objectives of cultivation of college physical education professionals; the de-grees of difficulty of various event specific examinations were unbalanced; the arrangement of times for additional technical examinations for the physical education major was irrational.
