(1.School of Physical Education,Central China Normal University,Wuhan 430079,China; 2.Research Center of Sports Culture,Central China Normal University,Wuhan 430079,China) Abstract: As one of the most widely popular national physical education examination in our country, the physical education entrance examination for senior high schools plays a positive role in promoting students’ physical and mental health development and improving the work quality for school physical education. Through the methods of literature and logical analysis, this paper systematically sorts out the current situation of the physical education entrance examination reform for senior high schools in China, and also explores its existing problems with the reference of Physical Education and Health Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education (2022 edition), and then it has been found that there are some problems, such as examination purpose deviating from the curriculum requirements, disconnection between examination content and practice, insufficient scientific scoring method, formalized process evaluation, and rigid methods for handling with special examinee. Based on this, this paper deeply analyzes the causes of problems, and also puts forward resolution paths of condensing value identification, optimizing evaluation content, establishing a scientific evaluation system, perfecting management and security mechanisms to relieve the real dilemmas, and then to accelerate the scientific reform for this examination.
