| (College of Physical Education,Guangzhou University,Guangzhou 510400,China) Abstract: Traditional evaluation of game level and team member performance by using various technical statistics of basketball game is provided with limitation. The author considered that the evaluation by scoring rate derived from dividing the total score in a game by total number of ball possessions is more objective and able to make a quantified analysis on basketball game level and team member performance.
