The characteristics of world woman’s basketball players’height，weight and age and those of Chinese players ZHANG Zhi, DENG Fei
（Institute of Physical Education,South China Normal University，Guangzhou 510631，China） Abstract: Through analyzing the body height, weight and age of the world excellent woman’s basketball players,authors found out that there are features and regularities in body index. On these body index of the world excellent basketball players’ are obviously superior to Chinese players, especially in age and weight.Those differences may be considered the main reason that basketball team of China fall behind the world elite basketball team.
