Abstract: Based on the investigation and documentation research, the paper studied Main characteristic of judging in the athletics competition. At first, the pa per analyzed the present situation of judging in the athletics competition: many competition events many athletics, the competition time is very long, objection of the competition performance. The conclusion is that there are 6 main characteristic of judging in the athletics competition: dividing the work is specialization, the methods of judging is electronic date processing, judging processing i s by program, the performance judging is scientific, field and equipments is high technical and the numbers of judges is more and more.
