| (Department of Physical Education,Zhejiang Industry University,Hangzhou 310032,China) Abstract: The author studied the costs and characteristics of the cultivation of high level athletes in universities and colleges in China,and revealed the following findings: The costs of the cultivation of high level athletes in universities and colleges in China include acquisition cost, development and use costs,insurance cost,etc;characteristics such as minimization of acquisition cost,role of opportunity cost,role of peripheral cost and application of replacement rule will affect the costs of the cultivation of high level athletes in universities and colleges.
