(MPA,Graduated from the School of Government in Sun Yatsen University,Guangzhou 510275,China) Abstract: The author analyzed sub-public characteristics of public sports products and pointed out that public sports products are a sort of relatively typical sub-public products,and drew the following conclusions: The market of public sports products in China has been provided with the conditions for nongovernmental supply,and the mode of nongovernmental supply may be introduced in an appropriate way to meet different needs of the public; different approaches may be adopted for nongovernmental supply of different types of public sports products: for public welfare type public sports products,a combined supply mode that bases mainly on governmental supply and is assisted by nongovernmental supply may be adopted to fully absorb and utilize social resources; for the elite public sports products that base their main body on the construction of national teams, the approaches for nongovernmental supply include the modes such as national teams organized and operated by single event sports association as well as national teams jointly constructed by the government and an enterprise; for profit-going public sports products, the most rational and effective approach is to adopt the mode of nongovernmental supply,i.e. the supply of such products is determined by the market,and the government just carries out monitoring mainly on market admittance and supervision.
