(1.College of Physical Education, Changchun Normal Institute,Changchun 130032,China;2.College of Physical Education, Jilin University, Changchun 130012,China; 3.College of Physical Education, Northeast Normal University,Changchun 130024,China) Abstract: By means of video measurement, the authors probed into the relation between speed skating posture and energy output,and revealed the following findings:The power was closely related to stride frequency and sliding posture;in an event in which the athletes skate over the same distance, the parameter of total output power decided the slight difference of performance between athletes whose capabilities were very close; an absolutely low posture could only be the one in which the trunk maintains a level position,while a relatively low posture was used only to exert the striding power of lower limbs; high energy output was produced mainly by making a lot of strides to produce power.
