(Institute of Students Physique Health,Henan University,Kaifeng 475001,China) Abstract: The author probed into the current situation of and problems existing in Chinese sports goods in the “post quota period”, expatiated on the opportunities and challenges brought by trade liberalization to sports goods manufacturers, and put forward responding strategies, such as adopting rational export strategy, striving to optimize product structure, making more investments in technology, increasing product’s added value, establishing early warning mechanism for conflicts in sports goods trade, strengthening production intensification, establishing large sized enterprise groups, referring to the experience of developed countries, and building up an international brand image, so as to boost the sustainable and healthy development of Chinese sports goods under the new situation.
