Abstract:No matter from the perspective of culture,strategy,or education,Wushu (martial arts) education must be considered as a strategically important task,which requires shoulder heavy responsibilities. We are not optimistic about current Wushu education, in which there are quite a few problems,such as who will teach,what to teach, and how to teach. We suggest that in Wushu education reform,more efforts should be put into the selection of the contents of teaching materials and the innovation of teaching methods, and that successful foreign martial art experience should be referred to.
