Abstract: By analyzing factors that affect the cultural education system for excellent Guangdong athletes in the new period, such as teaching assurance and management,educational conception, and teaching reform, the authors suggested that on the basis of comprehensively popularizing 9 years of obligated education for excellent athletes, education at high school stage, including high school education and secondary occupational technology education, should be further perfected, higher education should be gradually boosted, and adult education, continual education and remote education should be developed moderately, so as to comprehensively construct a open and diversified lifetime education system for excellent athletes.
