Abstract: By reviewing International Sports Arbitration Court’s stringent responsibility principle for stimulant abuse punishment, the authors pointed out that the defect of this principle failing to consider the will of the parties concerned will become ever increasingly prominent with sports globalization. Having probed into the profound causes for such a defect, the authors put forward preventive perfecting measures in order to ensure the core status of International Sports Arbitration Court’s stringent responsibility principle in stimulant abuse punishment will not be shaken.
