A discussion about a few concepts in physical education CHEN Zhi-shou

(College of Physical Education，Fujian Normal University，Fuzhou 350007，China) Abstract: Physical education teachers’ incorrect understanding of some concepts, such as constitution and health, sports culture,physical education, and means of physical education, has affected the orientation, objective, method and effect of physical education in the physical education teaching reform experiment carried out for more than 20 years. The author put forwards his opinions based on his experiences accumulated in engaging in physical education teaching over a long period of time, the guideline of free expression of thoughts, and the attitude of discussing things according to the facts.
