Research on sports skill teaching in the new physical education curriculum GAO Sheng-guang

(Jiangsu Suqian Experimental School，Suqian 223800，China) Abstract: Sports skills are an important learning area in the new physical education curriculum. Aiming at the mistake made to weaken sports skill teaching in the implementation of the new physical education curriculum, the author analyzed the diversification and healthiness of and discrepancy in sports skill contents in the new physical education curriculum, as well as the overall value of sport skill learning, and put forward the following strategies for sports skill teaching in the new curriculum: Re-comprehend the contents included in sports skills; develop and util-ize sports skill curriculum resources, carry out democratized sports skill teaching by combining the living reality and experience of and discrepancy in the students; evaluate sports skill learning appropriately.
