| (1.College of Physical Education，Hunan Normal University，Changsha 410012，China；2.Department of Physical Education，Changsha University of Science & Technology，Changsha 410076，China) Abstract: The authors studied the nature, characteristics, expression forms and realization channels of sports right, and considered that sports right belongs to an inferred right, which does not refer to specific forms of right, but em-bodies in various forms of right, such as the right of education, right of cultural activity freedom, right of existence, right of development, right of acquisition, and right of relief, being an abstract and comprehensive expression of various forms of right. Legalization of sports right, citizens having intense awareness of sports right, and unclogged channels for realizing sports right, are 3 basic elements for realizing sports right. During the realization of sports right, the government should actively exert its functions such as guiding, standardizing, assuring, interfering and re-lieving.
