Abstract: Basing their test object on 511 children at the age of 3-10, the authors probed into the credibility and validity of the Test of Gross Motor Development (TGMD-2), and revealed the following findings: The credibility coefficient of the testees is between 0.436 and 0.876; the credibility coefficient of internal consistency is between 0.607 and 0.925; the credibility coefficient of retest is between 0.608 and 0.876; the content validity, structure validity and criterion validity are all satisfying. TGMD-2 can be used as a tool for evaluating the condition of gross motor development of children at the age of 3-10.
