(Department of Physical Education,Hunan Humanities Science and Technology Institute,Loudi 417000,China)Abstract: By studying the result of physical education curriculum teaching after the implementation of “Physical Education Curriculum Guiding Outline for Common Institutes of Higher Learning in China” by Hunan province, the author revealed that the implementation of the Outline did not fulfill the expected objectives of curriculum reform in terms of teacher’s teaching effect and student’s learning effect, and proposed that curriculum reform should emphasize the cultural nature and binding force of the curriculum.
