Abstract: With the constant development of modern democratic society, the voices and participation of the public should never be ignored in the reform and development of any system mode. While current sports mode of China is making splendid achievements, it is also questioned and doubted by all walks of life in the society, mainly in such aspects as the unbalance between the cost and benefit, efficiency preference and fairness absence as well as coexis-tence of happy sports and sad sports with regard to elite sports, unconformity between elite sports and nationwide physical exercising, and the “air castle” worry about elite sports. Although these queries are somewhat caustic and unilateral, most of them are appropriate warnings to and retrospections of current sports mode of China.
