Abstract: A preference for selecting public sports interests exists in the existing public sports policies in China to a certain extent, and has caused harmful social consequences. Reasonable selection of interests in public sports poli-cies is the equilibrium distribution of public sports interests. Public sports policies should base their core on public interests, while the government should constantly increase financial investments in public sports, pay full attention to the sports interests of disadvantageous groups, and establish and perfect the sports interest expression mechanism for various interest groups.
