In recent years, inspired by the discovery of mirror neurons in macaques, and by means of the trauma free nature and high space definition of modern function imaging technology, the neural mechanism of human motion imitation has become the focus of interdisciplinary re-searches worldwide. The authors summarized and discussed researches in this area from such three aspects as neural foundation for motion imitation, functions of various functional zones of the brain, and possible affecting factors.
