Department of Physical Education;2.Department of Sports Sociology,Shanghai University of Sport,Shanghai 200438,China) Abstract: Basing their study subject on retarded students in two tutorial schools in Shanghai, and mainly using ex-periment methods, the author conducted the experiment for two years, and revealed the following findings: intensi-fying physical training or physical activities of different limbs of retarded students is the external reflection of coor-dinated development of left and right brain functions produced in the process of exertion of interactive control func-tions of the nervous system, having a significant effect on the enhancement of moving skill and physical capacity of retarded students, the compensation for defects in limb moving ability, and the correction of bad behaviors.
