摘      要：“阳光体育工程”所倡导的全民健身精神，对体育教育事业的提升和发展提出了新要求、新目标。为积极配合和推动我国体育教育发展这一要求和目标的实现，在主动学习外来体育文化进步思想和技术的同时，应更积极地发掘我们传统体育文化，促进传统体育文化在现代社会发展中的维系和传承。民族健身操作为现代体操学科中的一个新的分支，在对民族传统体育文化的传承和发扬上独具优势和特色。民族健身操在“阳光体育工程”的贯彻和实践中将具有光明的发展前景。

Abstract: The spirit of nationwide fitness, which was advocated by Sunshine Sports Project,puts forward new re-quirements and targets for the promotion and development of physical education. In order to accelerate the devel-opment of physical education in our nation, we should initiatively absorb the new ideas and technology from foreign countries, and we should also excavate the excellent characteristics of our traditional sports culture so as to promote the preservation and generation of traditional sports culture in modern society. As a new branch of modern gymnas-tics, national body mechanics has its unique advantages and characteristics in carrying forward traditional national sports culture. The continuous deepening and perfection of national body mechanics research provides a new de-velopment space for the gymnastics in our nation, therefore, it has a bright prospect in the implementation and prac-tice of Sunshine Sports Project.
