(College of Physical Education,Shandong University,Jinan 250100,China) Abstract: According to Kant’s philosophical and pedagogical views, and by combing with such two dominating US scholastic physical education curriculum and teaching modes as fitness education and competitive education, the author probed into why to implement these two teaching modes, and how to implement these two teaching modes in an educational environment, and clearly drew the following conclusions: fitness education is a natural education for the human body, while competitive education is a moral education via the human body; fitness education should be integrated into educational practice based on competitive education and by following the rules of natural law and moral law.
