The advantage of the market supplying competitive sports service products is that it can rationally and effectively allocate competitive sports resources, embody the ideology of supreme sovereignty of consumers of competitive sports service products, and effectively stimulate competitive sports service product producers. The shortages of the market supplying competitive sports service products are shown as follows: it is hard to coordinate between private interests and national interests; it cannot deal with externalities, being unable to supply public competitive sports service products, and tending to in-duce “inverse selection” and “ethical risks”. Clear property rights, perfected market systems as well as complete laws and regulations are the conditions for the market to effectively supply competitive sports service products.
