| (1.School of Physical Education，Shihezi University，Shihezi 832003，China；2.School of Physical Education，Xingjiang Normal University，Urumuqi 830000，China) Abstract: The authors analyzed the NBA draft system by using economic methods, and drew the following conclu-sions: NBA draft is a process in which the drafting teams, drafted players and their brokers seek for the maximiza-tion of their own interests; the limited reason of the drafted players and their brokers has restricted the development of the drafted players themselves; incomplete information regarding the NBA drafting teams and drafted player brokers is not conducive to the development of the drafted players; the opportunistic tendency of the NBA drafting teams, drafted players and their brokers is to seek for greater interests.
