(School of Physical Education,North-East Normal University,Changchun 130024,China) Abstract: Life in the area of physical education curriculum embodies an extremely complicated relation between the body and mind as well as between the soul and spirit. In recent years, in the process of the development of physical education curriculum in basic education in China, weak self-awareness, the lack of localized features, mu-tual exclusion and reasonless dispute between various norms, and the lack of necessary norm complementation and compensation measures, have seriously hindered the development of physical education curriculum in basic educa-tion. From the perspective of life embodiment, the authors interpreted issues about the research origin and logic ori-gin of physical education curriculum, and gave realistic answers to problems existing in current physical education curriculum. The authors considered that following the view of life education, restoring the original features of physical education, and following the norm of study of life embodiment by combining sciences with humanities and by focusing on the complementation of tool reason and value reason for the existence of life of human beings, will inevitably become the value pursuit for the study of physical education curriculum in the future.
