| （Department of Physical Education，Medical College of Shantou University，Shantou 515031，China） Abstract: Historically, over a long period of time sports is an area dominated by men, while the course of women participating in sports is a process of women constantly fighting and men constantly compromising. Women’s sex role and sex awareness are affected by social cultures, whereas social cultures should as well have powerful influ-ence on women participating in sports, and become the cause for restricting or boosting women participating in sports. By analyzing children games, the author revealed that the difference between children games has set the dis-crepancy between men and women participating in sports after they grow up. Lastly, the author predicted the out-look of women participating in sports.
