| （School of Physical Education，Jilin University，Changchun 130012，China） Abstract: The Gymnastics Management Center of General Sports Bureau of China has promulgated the Rated Gymnast’s Specified Moves and Scoring Rules, in which the Levels 2 and 3 Gymnast Technical Rating Standards Amendment Draft has made big changes to the original standard: The standards established for competitive gym-nasts were orientated for the masses and competitive gymnastics lovers for the first time, which is conducive to the development of competitive gymnastics in universities, middle schools and elementary schools; the restriction of the levels 2 and 3 standards meeting age of gymnastics lovers was removed, so that gymnastics lovers can make plans according to their own time, which will build up a solid mass foundation; the independency of event selection was enhanced, and the standards to be met were somewhat lowered, so that the lovers can select different stan-dard-to-be-met events according to their own characteristics; the amendment of these standards is conducive to the popularization of competitive gymnastics, and the boost of further development of the nationwide citizen fitness plan.
