Sport under the background of modern history of China blended into the course of historical development as a carrier for nation and race strengthening, country survival and national modernization, concessively went through such two stages as physical strength value view and national sports value view, and consequentially established a national psychological foundation for the generation and selection of the competitive sports “nationwide system” and “Olympic glory seeking plan” after new China was founded; after new China was founded, China chose Olympics once again for its needs for communicat-ing with other countries and fulfilling its century dream, and for the great renaissance of the Chinese nation. It is historically inevitable for China to choose Olympics.
