| （Department of Art，Xi’an Physical Education University，Xi’an 710068，China） Abstract: Although occupational skill appraisal jobs were developed relatively late in the sports industry, such three industries as “social sports instructor”, “sports field worker” and “sports broker” have been listed the dictionary of occupations in China; various occupational skill appraisal jobs in the sport industry are well developed and main-taining a good momentum nationwide. It is inevitable to develop occupational skill appraisal jobs in physical educa-tion institutes of higher learning. Physical education institutes of higher learning should exert their advantages, strengthen teaching reform, optimize occupational training resources, develop social resources, and actively boost the development of occupational skill appraisal jobs in physical education institutes of higher learning.
