| （School of Physical Education，Shaoguan University，Shaoguan 512005，China） Abstract: By applying video observation and three-section analysis method, the author gathered statistics of major games played by and between WANG Hao and RYU Seung-min since Athens Olympic Games, compared the statis-tical data with evaluation indexes, and revealed the following findings: since Athens Olympic Games, technical evaluation on WANG Hao in the ball serving attack stage and served ball receiving attack stage has shown a rising trend, while RYU Seung-min’s overall performance has been on the poor side and fluctuating; WANG Hao has a dominating advantage in the deadlock stage, but the two players’ using rate is kind of low, which shows the two players’ tactical ideology for active and initiative forestalled attacks during competition.
