| （Department of Physical Education，Renmin University of China，Beijing 100872，China） Abstract: In sociological theories the nature of socialization is considered as role learning and role undertaking. In the process of physical education, college students internalize social cultures, perfect their personality and individu-ality and enhance their role skills by carrying out role playing and role learning according to the “script” expected by roles. It can help students gradually understanding the role of social expectations of their own, through the role of awareness of social expectations, and complete the transition to the “social” role in the community scene which sports offers.
