(School of Physical Education,South China Normal University,Guangzhou 510006,China) Abstract: Having studied the practice of reform of the “triple independent’ physical education teaching form, the author considered that the “triple independent” teaching conception should be understood correctly and the “triple independent” teaching form should be implemented rationally. On the one hand, the “triple independent” teaching form adopted by common institutes of higher learning highlights the principal status of students in teaching, and embodies the ideology of “boosting comprehensive development of human beings based on people orientated edu-cation”, being an important form for physical education teaching in common institutes of higher learning in the new period; on the other hand, since that the implementation of “triple independent” teaching requires that schools have good software and hardware conditions for teaching, if some common institutes of higher learning have poor physi-cal education teaching conditions, “triple independent” teaching can improve their teaching conditions; students should be actively guided to correctly understand “triple independent” teaching ideology; using diversified teaching modes is an important factor for ensuring and enhancing teaching effects; “triple independent” course selection on the internet should be carried out as a scholastic behavior under the unified coordination of teaching office of schools.
