(School of Physical Education,Guangzhou University,Guangzhou 510006,China) Abstract: This new round of physical education curriculum reform has brought fundamental changes to the concep-tions, teaching organization forms and contents of high school physical education curriculum, student’s learning modes, and physical education curriculum evaluation system. It is determined by the specificity of physical educa-tion that the connection between college physical education curriculum and high school physical education curricu-lum is a continuous system. In order to adapt to changes in high school physical education curriculum, the author put forward the following suggestions: implement a credit and score management combined system; establish an optional teaching system in institute of higher learning, which connects with the high school system; establish single event sports clubs in institutes of high learning; implement leveled teaching for students with different perform-ances, so as to enhance student’s health awareness and lifetime physical exercise capacity, and to realize teaching objectives.
