(School of Physical Education,South China Normal University,Guangzhou 510006,China) Abstract: Stimulation from various external environments can cause the unbalance of homeostasis in endoplasmic reticulum, which results in endoplasmic reticulum stress; endoplasmic reticulum stress is a self protection measure taken by cells in order to maintain homeostatic functions of cells. Subjected to heat stimulation, the body produces corresponding heat shock reaction, which induces cells to synthesize heat shock protein for stress, and to enhance the damage resisting ability of cells; exercising can also stimulate endoplasmic reticulum to produce stress reaction and heat shock protein, thus playing a role in body protection.
