(1.School of Physical Education,South China Normal University,Guangzhou 510006,China;2.School of Physical Education,Ningbo University,Ningbo 315211,China) Abstract: Guided by the theory of dissipative structure, the authors probed into the mechanism of evolution of the physical education disciplinary system in China from the perspective of system, and revealed the following findings: the physical education disciplinary system in China is provided with such conditions for the formation of dissipative structure as openness, away from the equilibrium state, nonlinear function between subsystems, and the existence of a fluctuating mechanism; significant characteristics of self organization are shown in both its formation process and its evolution mechanism.
