| （1.School of Physical Education，Yunnan Normal University，Kunming 650222，China；2.Olympic Research Center，Beijing Sport University，Beijing 100084，China） Abstract: Women’s body view is the recognition, emotional attitude and value judgment on women’s bodies. Fe-male sport is a social and cultural activity that bases its functional subject on the body, its means on body activities, and its purpose on body improvement and further comprehensive development. The occurrence and development of female sport as a social and cultural activity are restrictively affected by ideological conceptions. Since both of them work on the body, female sport is directly affected by women’s body view. In this study, the authors put forward the following opinions: women’s body view plays a guiding, standardizing and driving role in female sport; female sport conflicts constantly with women’s body view, while it is being developed in the framework stipulated by women’s body view.
