| （School of Physical Education，Liaoning Normal University，Dalian 116029，China） Abstract: Investments in athletes as human capital in China are diversified, which makes the property right of ath-letes as human capital present the nature of a mixed system. The authors put forward the following strategies for managing athletes as human capital in China based on the property right in a mixed system: determine athlete’s ra-tional allocation and change the profit allocation structure; speed up sports system reform and get on the track of professional sports clubs; perfect legislation and ensure the interests of various investment parties; perfect the talent management system and implement the stimulation system.
