(Department of Physical Education,Shaoxing College of Arts and Sciences,Shaoxing 312000,China) Abstract: In order to probe into the effects of training means on muscle strength, the author carried out 4-week cen-tripetal and centrifugal combined isokinetic training with an angular velocity of 60º/s on the biceps of 8 athletes, and found that there is a significant difference in such indexes as total test work, maximum moment and maximum work before and after the experiment, which indicates that the training has a significant effect on improving the muscle strength of the biceps of the athletes.
