| （1.School of Physical Education，Soochow University，Suzhou 215021，China；2.Wushu Department，Shanghai University of Sports，Shanghai 200438，China） Abstract: The authors studied the necessity of studying the awareness of traditional Chinese culture in building a new Chinese Wushu education system from the perspective of traditional Chinese cultural education, and pointed out that it is a rare opportunity for traditional Chinese cultural education to catch more and more attention of profes-sionals in the cultural and educational communities, but Chinese Wushu as a symbol of Chinese culture and an in-dication of status is in a regretful situation of the missing of its own traditional cultural education. By collating the change of conceptions for the development of Wushu education, the authors dissected relations between Wushu education and national cultural education, explained how to get rid of fixed psychological tendency toward the thinking about sport and how to intensify the awareness of traditional Chinese culture, and concluded that Wushu education will absorb more nutrition in the space of traditional Chinese culture, and enter into a cultural, bodily and artistic multi-dimensional space that completely belongs to itself.
