(Law School,Xiangtan University,Xiangtan 411105,China) Abstract: Before taking provisional measures as applied by the party concerned, the Court of Arbitration for Sports should first examine if the Court has jurisdiction over the case and if the applicant is eligible, and then examine if the applicant will suffer irreparable damages and if the applicant has a reasonable chance to win the lawsuit accord-ing to previous practices, as well as if the interests of the applicant outweigh the interests of other parties concerned.
