| （School of Sports Human and Society，Jinlin Institute of Physical Education，Changchun 130022，China） Abstract: Since modern competitive sport was introduced into China, there have been such problems as emphasiz-ing the utility value and neglecting the individual value. In China competitive sport has always been influenced by intrinsic and extrinsic factors; wrong understandings have kept coming out. Today, for the reconstruction of com-petitive education in China, we should restore the original features of Olympic education. Guided by this concep-tion, Jilin Institute of Physical Education has performed some practices.
