(1.Department of Physical Education,Anhui Vocational and Technical College of Electronic Information,Bengbu 233000,China;2.Department of Physical Education,Anhui University of Finance and Economics,Bengbu 233000,China) Abstract: The authors probed into the relation between sport and life in such three dimensions as natural life, spiri-tual life and social life in life, and contemplated the current situation of physical education teaching in institutes of higher vocational education, then put forward the following conceptions for physical education teaching in institutes of higher vocational education from the perspective of life: in terms natural life, implement the “post guided” teaching mode, focus on developing student’s vocational post capacities, add the content of life safety education, and ensure student’s natural life quality; in terms of spiritual life, apply simple and feasible expanded training to develop student’s vocational mental makings coupled with “vocational planning” education, deepen frustration education, perfect student’s spiritual life structure; in terms of social life, teachers should teach students both ver-bally and physically, sharpen student’s service awareness, and highlight student’s social life value.
