(Department of Physical Education,Xinhua College of SUN Yat-sen University,Guangzhou 510520,China) Abstract: By studying and analyzing the errors in the inferring method used by and the curriculum conceptual mis-understanding of Jiaqi, the author pointed out that the relation between the physical education curriculum carrying on sports skills and the physical education curriculum enhancing fitness is a relation between means and purpose or a relation between process and result, but not a relation between subject and object, and that the function of the physical education curriculum is not only to carry on the physical education culture, hoping to settle such an orien-tation and standard setting issue in the physical education curriculum area.
