| （Department of Physical Education，China University of Geosciences（Wuhan），Wuhan 430074，China） Abstract: By means of questionnaire and interview the authors studied the management of the Master of Science degree conferring public physical education department in common institutes of higher learning in China, concluded that the Master of Science degree conferring public physical education department in common institutes of higher learning in China is currently having difficulties in student recruitment and curriculum setup, and proposed that the Master of Science degree conferring public physical education department should recruit its students with multiple methods, utilize its teachers in various ways, open its courses with features, and cultivate its students in a refined way.
