(School of Physical Education,China West Normal University,Nanchong 637002,China) Abstract: With the development of economic integration and sports globalization, the international communication of sports professionals with different national, regional and cultural backgrounds is ever increasingly frequent, thus multiple cultures coexist in one sports team. Cultural diversity has made contributions to the development of sports teams, but also brought a lot of problems. Starting at analyzing cultural diversity and multi-cultural heterogeneity, the authors dissected the advantages and disadvantages of sports teams with multiple cultures, and concluded that sports teams with multiple cultures can more effectively expand oversea markets and enhance the creativity of team members as well as the innovative capacity, flexibility and adaptability of sports teams, but they have such problems as communication obstruction and interpersonal confliction. Therefore, in terms of strategies for the communication and management of sports teams with multiple cultures, we should do as much as we could to overcome cultural, especially linguistic obstruction, establish a common sports team culture, and utilize management stimulation re-sources to exert the charm of leaders and administrators.
