Abstract: Aiming at the issue about how to implement strategies for becoming a powerful country of sport, an issue widely discussed by the academic community today, the authors contemplated such an issue from the perspective of human science of Marxism, and put forward the following opinions: the building of a powerful country of sport (in-cluding the building of hard and soft strengths) is a dynamically sustainable process with a relative nature; to realize our dream to become a powerful country of sport, we should not rush the establishment of some sort of so called “powerful country of sport judgment standards” which are quantified and very specific, in stead, we should, at the human position, first ask for whom this “powerful country of sport” is going to be built, and then think about how to build such a country, i.e. the issue of “good or bad”; humans should always make due value judgment on choices for the way to a powerful country of sport. Finally, the authors offered the following suggestions for building a power-ful country of sport and respecting human values: sports development depends on humans; sport education promotes humans; sport cultures enrich humans; sports activities adapt to humans; sport science serves humans.
