(China Institute of Sports Science,Beijing 100061,China) Abstract: The Olympic manifesto was originally a speech given by Pierre de Coubertin at the University of Sor-bonne in Paris in November 1892, but the speech script was lost for a long time, found until 1994, called as the Olympic manifesto later. It is a very important piece of literature in the history of Olympics. Pierre de Coubertin analyzed the world at that time, especially the state and trend of sports development in Europe, and proposed to re-sume the Olympic Games for the first time.
