| （1.Department of Physical Education and Health Education，Liuzhou Teachers College，Liuzhou 545004，China；2.Sports Science College，Nanjing Normal University，Nanjing 210046，China） Abstract: By means of literature data and logic analysis, and on the basis of interpreting livelihood sport, the au-thors expatiated on the relations between livelihood sport and making the citizens rich and the nation powerful, and worked out the following ways to livelihood sport construction: seek for new ideas for livelihood sport development by basing the guiding ideology on the view of scientific development; speed up livelihood sport construction in terms of material by basing the assurance on governmental and civil investment; boost the smooth development of livelihood sport by basing the opportunity on sports system construction; boost the grand development of livelihood sport by basing the key on the coordinated development of Chinese and western sports events; guide the healthy development of livelihood sport by basing the orientation on enriching citizen spiritual life
